I picked up my new Steed last week and she's 12/10. Sadly, my last bike was stolen (RIP) but my brand new Thoroughbred has brought back the joy that is commuting in and around London. It's the only way to get around this city – on a gorgeous single speed that's lightweight, slick, and earning me plenty of OH LA LA's!

Obsessed!
I recently needed to use a friends bike and borrowed a fabulous steed bike. The quality was so good and I’m only little and it was so light and easy to pick up. As we know living in London there are so many moments we have to pick up the bike to walk across somewhere mid ride. And I just feel like everyone should know this :)

I had never ridden a single speed bike before and wasn't sure what all the fuss was about. Then I bought a Steed and I think I might be a convert. Despite (or maybe because of) the lack of gears, I feel like I'm gliding around the city when I ride it. I only ever seemed to use about 4 of the gears on my previous bike and I quite like getting out of the saddle to go up hills anyway. Plus my (blue steel) Steed looks absolutely beautiful. And, with every little detail feeling like it's been thought about in detail, the overriding feeling is that it's a really high quality bike - and particularly high quality for the price.
(All of this might explain the slightly embarrassing accompanying photo where I'm attempting to give my Steed a loving hug...😳)
